2010 Fall Session (starting Sept. 9):
Thursdays 7:30 to 9:30 pm
September 9, 16, 23, 30
October 7, 14, 21, 28
November 4 and 11 (no play on 11/18 - gym not available, and 11/25 -- Thanksgiving Day)
December 2, 9, 16GENERAL RULES:
1. Proper attire, including non-marking shoes.
2. No profanity
3. For your own safety, do not walk onto court boundaries when matches are in play.
4. For players who bring children (under 16) to the gym: For their own safety, they must be supervised at all times. Children are allowed on court ONLY if no adults are waiting to play.
Suggestions:
Please join the club for Thursdays or Sundays or both, and pay the club fees per season. When you do this, the cost is $10 per session, instead of $12. And it saves the club treasurer the headache of collecting money for each session you play.
Other Badminton News
The
annual National Capital Open Badminton Tournament was played at the
University of Maryland Jan. 15-17, 2010. More than 300 players
participated, coming from all over the world, including Nepal, Barbados and
